Golden Retriever–Poodle ancestry often suits families who enjoy training, walks and play, but adult size and energy vary. Ask about the Poodle variety and the parents' everyday behaviour. Practise calm greetings and settling, particularly around younger children.
Coat and health evidence
A Goldendoodle may shed, and a low-shedding coat can still need substantial grooming. Avoid allergy promises. Request relevant screening for both parent breeds, including clinical schemes where indicated, and discuss the original results with your vet rather than assuming a crossbreed is healthier.
