Planning a Puppy Visit in London
These local planning notes do not confirm that a puppy is currently based in the city. Check the listing's actual location before arranging a journey.
Confirm the viewing address
London listings can describe the wider London area rather than a central borough. Ask for the full viewing address before travelling, confirm that the puppy is normally kept there and never accept a handover at a station, car park or motorway service area.
Plan a calm journey home
Allow extra time for London traffic and arrange a secure carrier, water, absorbent bedding and a second adult where possible. Public transport may be overwhelming for a young puppy, so agree the safest collection plan before reserving.
Buying a puppy in London
Licensing can depend on how the seller operates and which London council area applies. Verify the seller with the relevant local authority, visit the puppy where it was raised and ask to see the original microchip and veterinary records before paying.
